A range of Learning providers across Glasgow have a statutory duty to produce a CLD Plan every three years. The next plan for 2021-24 will be published in September this year. This is your opportunity to feed into the plan and help shape the priorities. The current plan is governed by
Glasgow CLD Strategic Partnership and at their meeting in February 2021 the partnership agreed the following.
- To refresh the current strategy (rather than re-write)
- To include COVID-19 recovery work as part of the plan
- To recognise the emerging priorities from COVID-19 of mental health and employability.
- To recognise the importance to tackling health inequalities and poverty
- To keep the three high level priority areas that are aligned to the city priorities
- Economic Recovery and Growth (with more focus on Recovery)
- Resilient Communities
- A Fairer More Equal Glasgow.
- The partnership also agreed to retain two other high level priorities
- Strengthening & Embedding CLD
- Continuous Improvement.
